The ACATE Global Gateway is a strategic internationalization program created by ACATE (Santa Catarina Technology Association) and supported by FAPESC (Santa Catarina Research and Innovation Support Foundation). The initiative is designed to prepare technology companies from Santa Catarina, Brazil, to compete in highly innovative and competitive global markets

In its latest edition, 20 technology companies — including DIGIMET Solutions — took part in an international immersion in the cities of Toronto and Kitchener, a region widely known as the “Canadian Silicon Valley.” During the program, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present their solutions and pitches to key Canadian ecosystem players such as Catalyst Commons, BCCC, and the Accelerator Centre

Following the pitch sessions, DIGIMET Solutions was recognized by Canadian stakeholders as one of the three standout companies of the Global Gateway, alongside FastBuilt and Yungas — a distinction that reinforces the company’s global potential and international readiness

Specialized in digital solutions for weld inspection, macrography, and the automation of metallurgical analyses, DIGIMET stood out among participants for the maturity of its solution, its advanced use of Artificial Intelligence, and its potential for direct impact on productivity and safety in industrial operations, as highlighted by Renan Floriani, COO of the company

Today, DIGIMET serves more than 50 active customers, including international companies such as Gestamp, Magna, Faurecia, and Metalsa. The company’s goal is to establish itself as the primary choice for industries seeking to reduce inspection time, minimize errors, and standardize metallurgical processes — including macrographic analysis (destructive weld inspection), metallographic analysis (in cast iron and steel), and Brinell hardness testing
